Our charming one-bedroom gîte - Le Petit Bijou - is ideal for a couple or a single person looking for the perfect relaxing vacation in the beautiful French countryside. It can also accommodate a small child (extra bed or crib). We have restored our barn to its former glory. It features many original elements: oak beams, stone walls and a magnificent fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Decorated in a chic, modern country style, the living/dining room is beautifully furnished and has a TV (programs in French and English as in our 2 other gîtes) and DVD/CD player. Free WiFi is also available. Complementing the beautiful old features, you'll find all the essentials for a truly comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and hob, perfect for preparing wonderful meals with all the fabulous French produce available on your doorstep. The bedroom is charming - with exposed beams, a built-in wardrobe and a comfortable wrought-iron double bed - many of our guests say they don't want to leave!  Take advantage of the Velux window to gaze at the stars or the sunrise, and indulge in the joy of knowing that another day of relaxation awaits you. The modern, spotless en suite bathroom features a bath with shower. Outside, you'll find a private deck and a garden equipped with barbecue and garden furniture. Don't forget you can swim in one of our two pools (indoor heated by an air-source heat pump or outdoor heated by solar energy).
